👋 Oi, mga repapips, Brian Dys here! I love music, photography, and creative stuff like UX design and art. This is a place where I collect my thoughts and works. Apart all these, I’m Jaycelle’s better half and Bryce’s dad. 🥰
I woke up this afternoon. I was hungry. I went out and saw this particular sky and clouds – the overall atmosphere. It reminded me of how simple life was back then. When families were together. When school was there. Or just the mere thought that you have someone to share your hapiness with. Then I remembered one of those times when you were smiling at me. It made everything feel familiar again. Even for just a while.

Why do I have all the time in the world? It is because I am a bum. I had five Super Dry with my good friend, Peachy, last night. Man, I miss spending time with friends and hearing their funny jokes. Then today, I woke up at eleven. My brothers were not home. They already went to their own business. I was left scavenging for food in the house.
You see, I am here to clean the apartment that I am about to rent. The main house is not my territory so I ended up buying some instant noodles from the store just beside this place.
April was the month we started visiting the bar almost every day; the month we spent three days in the outskirts of a distant land called, Zambales; mother turned fifty and still looking young; new people came along and introduced themselves to my life. I ended this month lying in front of the house in a drunken stupor.
Blues. I think I died this afternoon as I experienced flying at will to the top of our neighborhood.
Big Brother. This is a classic setting of an 80s house where the owner never dared clearing the living room off his precious possessions. Or better yet, some gifts just have really big sentimental value.
Training Day. I usually see people cleaning the windshield of a car in gasoline stations. The kid popped from nowhere as soon as the light went red.
Blind Man. He may be the old chap who asks for help at the footbridge but he is all right. He counts the coins after the long day.
Balde And Bugsy. The two puppies did not want to stay with us; took the opportunity when the small gate was swinging wide.
Graduation Mass. What the hell were we doing here? We do not have the slightest idea.
Fire Drill. Ten minutes before the intended time for fire drill, we received a notice to evacuate the building using the elevator. How bad is it to use the fire exit from the twenty-first floor?
Over The Bakod. When we were kids, we used to climb lots of trees, namely: mango tree, bayabas tree, balimbing tree, and macopa tree. Of course, some left unconquered because the branches were too high for us to reach. I remember them, but those trees are gone now – the duhat tree, santol tree, and mansanitas tree (which was full of thorns).
Spell. She is happy today and will forget about the whole jumpy emotion.

Guess what? Two nights ago, I don’t remember exactly how I got home. An event just impacted my mind when I hit the ground at the side of our house. I’m not sure if I tried to run to cause the accident. My left elbow took the sliding fall. Lucky me, no broken bone; just a few scratches that don’t even need Band-aids. It was somehow funny because our three dogs were the witnesses. Then this really weird feeling in the morning hit me. I felt as if I died that night; not because of the fall but something I could not recall. Something like a glitch in a drunkard’s memory.
