- Structure the groups
Now, it’s time to structure the groups that we have formed from the previous round. We should ask the question of “what does this web page do?” We need to find out the its main function. What is obvious from the web page is that it is Search. However, to be accurate, let’s take it from Google itself:

According to Google Search’s mission, its main function is about organizing information. The search functionality is one of the ways it makes the organized information accessible. We could
HEADER ------------ MAIN ------------ FOOTER
We could use the HMF Information Structure in structuring the groups in our Content Inventory. HMF stands for Header – Main – Footer and it is only one of the ways to employ a hierarchical structure in our content. The Header contains the identifying information of the entity such as its name, description, and purpose (also known as NDP Information Structure); the Main contains the main content and/or functionality of the entity (one test is that if you remove this content and/or functionality, the entity will fail to achieve its mission or objective); the Footer contains supplemental information about the entity.
